However, to be better than games that preceded it is to be expected, not revered. This is a great game, no doubt, but it's not as revolutionary as COD4 was. That was leaps and bounds better than everything else at the time. MW2 is just marginally better. The campaign is decent, but it's been done before. The cinematic moments have become iterative--the shock and awe moments have become desensitized because we've seen them in COD4 already. Hence why they had to throw in the airport scene to try to throw something new at you, but it doesn't work. Spec Ops is a great add on. Multiplayer is slightly better. All in all, definitely a keeper, but don't treat it as the best thing since sliced bread. In summary, it does what a sequel should do, which is enough this time around. Hopefully, they can start with a blank template for COD8 and revolutionize the genre once again. First off, I believe this is the best FPS out there.
