this is a very good game. the only drawback that i can think of is poor quality cut scenes, or rather the scenes with a particular university team mascot, i.e. whenever the WR celebrates a touchdown, the people in the stands look almost cartoonish. this is just nitpicking though. otherwise, its a very good game. i havent played this series since probably ’05 when i bought it for PS2, but i am certainly not disappointed in purchasing this game for my PS3. i havent played the ’09 or any other previous next-gen versions, so i cant compare this version with previous ones on the basis of graphics and/or features that it has or missing but i think that fans of college football wont be disappointed at all.

Wow! I honestly didn’t think I was going to like this game as much as I do. You get tired of the same old thing coming out with a little tweak here and there every year. This years tweaks are freaking sweet though!!

    TEAMBUILDER:

Outstanding addition! Once you get used to the online interface…this is a seriously cool little tool to play with. I should know…i spent about 6 hours on Saturday obsessing over the style I wanted to use for my teams pants. (OK…I didn’t say I didn’t have issues.) But seriously…really fun to create teams the way you think they should look and play, or to just add historic teams of your choosing.

    PLAYER LOCK (Defense):

I have to say…this basically completes this games overall coolness rating for me. I always liked playing offense during franchise and playing defense during Campus Legend. Now…you get the best of both worlds. There is a bit of a glitch with the time before the snap. (Too short) But these are small issues that become near invisible after some experience with the game is gained.

There are other little tweaks that i really like…that would go almost un-noticed if you had never played the game before. (Like the QB slipping at the end of his drop in the rain/snow.)But the overall game is still relatively the same from last year. All-in-all…a very fun game that doesn’t really have much left to improve upon as far as I’m concerned.

This game is definitely worth buying.

I am a sports gamer and have played the NCAA title each year since the original on PS1. From early titles like 2002 on up to 2005, this game was one of my favorites – year after year.

Last year I was a little disappointed, but still played a few dynasty season before restarting and giving it another go with a different team. This years title however, is simply boring. The gameplay is the same but the menu’s are updated with a new look…woo flippin who. The worst part, and what made me trade it in before it was a week old, was the recruting process in dynasty mode. It takes longer to recruit each week that it does to play a game!!! boring, boring, boring.

    Waste of time and money.
