I think this game will improve my spatial cognition although it is not a lot of fun. It may get more interesting as my skill improves.

I LOVE Bejeweled and I don’t know why they didn’t just leave it alone. This one is too hard to figure out. I wanted a nice Bejeweled game to play on my Nintendo – this one is too much work and too hard. I’m sure eventually I’ll get it if I don’t give up on it first. I wish they would come out with a regular Bejeweled game.

I bought this game because I’m addicted to Bejeweled on the computer and thought now I can take it with me anywhere! Well, it’s not the same as the original computer version and the touch screen option on the DS doesn’t seem to work so I have to use the key pad. This isn’t at all what I wanted and I hope the original Bejeweled comes out for the DS eventually. My advice is don’t order this game if you like the original.

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RQYCYMSYYX7AQ Pop cap has had so many disappointing games for the DS. Bookworm DS wasn’t for left handed people. Amazing Adventures: The Forgotten Ruins and Mystery P.I. Portrait of a Thief were easy to defeat within 20 minutes of playing them. So I had my doubts about this and I was right.
Bejeweled Twist isn’t much better. You twist and spin jewels to match 3-5 tiles in a straight line and eliminate them to earn points. When The hourglass to the left is full, you move onto the next round. if you match 4, you get a special gem on fire which when matched of 3 or more, it eliminates other surround gems, matching or not. And 5 or more, A special Lighting gem, which I can’t seem to get because the gems when matched automatically eliminate themselves. Personally, I think before they are eliminated, we should have had the option of tapping the screen first before they go.
There is also a Bomb gem, which appears from time to time where if the timer runs out, you get the chance to defuse it. Not very challenging. Shouldn’t I be getting a game over if I miss the deadline? And there’s another tile appearing from time to time that locked in a cage at an Animal at the zoo. This one can’t not be twisted
It seems like a kind of rip-off of Dr. Mario, as with that game, you match the viruses by color to eliminate them. At Least Dr. Mario Was more fun and challenging as the difficulty increased when the level did. With Dr. Mario you couldn’t go to the top of the jar without a game over and it got more difficult as the level increased. Bejeweled Twist’s difficulty didn’t increase as you went up a level.
So The game started off fun but became boring because each level was as easy as the first. if it was more difficult as you go up a level, maybe It’d be more fun
I say this is only worthy of a rental and 2 stars.

I like the original bejeweled better and I didn’t like this twist on the game that much.
Instead of finding three in a row you have to rotate gems, but it’s kind of limited because it tells you which ones to rotate.
For free you can download better games on your computer.
