Family Feud 2010 edition by WII was so far off base no one would continue to play after the first game. It was a total waste of fun time and money.

    I wouldn’t recommend it anyone.

Some of the questions are NOT appropriate for families with young children. We were playing as a family and one of the questions that came up was ” name something that children believe in but parents do not”. We have young children and realized that some of the answers could be quite devastating, so immediately turned the game off. Please be cautioned!! especially as the holidays are approaching.

This game was a lot of fun FOR THE FIRST NIGHT. We played with my wife’s family during the holidays for about 1.5 hours. We picked it up again for a New Year’s Eve party, and my wife and I had already played >90% of the categories. In other words, we pay $35 for a little over an hour of gameplay. DON’T BUY THIS GAME!

Playing this game alone against the computer is way too easy. The computer family always loses and in a dozen games I have only seen them get a correct answer once. The fast money round is also way too easy, with the number one answers being very obvious and usually worth 60 or 70 points. Because of this you can usually beat the fast money round with only one turn and not have to go to the other member of your family to pick up any points. I had to try to dumb my answers down to make it more challenging. The two player mode was more fun, but I still don’t think it is worth the price.

Even though it is really easy to win, some of the answers are really bizzare. For instance, one question was about a down-side to eating peanut butter. Well, we got the obvious answers such as sticky, messy, etc., but we couldn’t think of the last answer at all. It was diharrea. What!!!! I’m not joking! Is this a common problem with eating peanut butter that I didn’t know about? I don’t think so. Several other questions had a weird answer thrown in too.

Overall this game is a kinda fun way to spend some time, and it is good to play with a friend, but it gets old fast because it isn’t challenging.

I must say I was a little sckeptical when I put this one in the Wii because we had just played the awful THE PRICE IS RIGHT (Wii version) – but pleasantly enough – this game was fun, sharp and really passed the time away quickly.

This is a very well put totgether game. Excellent graphics, familiar music and of course the excitment of the various quesitons and trivia that make this game so much fun to watch.

Complete with regular rounds, bonus rounds, double rounds, tripple rounds – and my personal favorite – the “Fast Round” – this game seems to cover all subjects and genres as far as trivia/survey’s.

My only criticism is that the Characters are a little stock and stiff in the movements and appearance, but once you get used to your ‘given’ Avatar – the game is a great joy. They should have allow the game to use your own Mii’s. Then it would have been perfect!

I would defiantely recommend this one! “…and the survey says…”. Lorenz M. (4-10)
