Everything about this game is old style RPG even the pixilated graphics. It’s fun to play and even though the story is a rehash of most RPG storylines it still kills sometime between the Zelda, Mario, and Pokémon games.

I enjoy a good old fashioned RPG. I don’t mind grinding. I am the type that tends to over level my characters. That said, I find this game BORING. It is extremely linear. You can’t go back and revisit towns. It is easy to miss things (especially knowing which are important things are important to buy for later in the game), but then again it doesn’t feel like it is all that important. Additional grinding just feels like a waste. I like a game that lasts 100+ hours but with this game I just feel like going to get a book to read. I have to force myself to pick up my DS to finish this.

At first Glory of Heracles may seem a bit simplistic with its eye pleasing graphics and easy to follow instructions, but don’t let that fool you. This game is just as much an entertaining DS title as it is a challenging quest worth the time and attention of any fantasy and/or video game fan awaiting the next Zelda title to be released.

The game is fun if you are looking for a challenge at times. I like that when you are casting spells, you can do mini games with the styles to power up the attack. The graphics are good but not great.

the adventure never stop with this game, it met my expectations and surpass it. the only thing it i would recommend that you need to build your players up to a level such as level 20 so that you can compete and have the advantage in your ball-court. also if you are not a strategical person this game isn’t for you. it took me quite some time to understand my players weaknesses because it was more so about gaining more power then being tactical. but if your the type of game player that grow the more you play you will have no problem.
