The only good thing about this game is the presentation. Gameplay is a joke. Very arcadish. Ground game shouldn’t just base on stamina. It is about timing and position. Have you ever watch mma fighters gets sub in 1st round. Stand up game is nothing but two robots, button smashing fest. Price continue to drop. If you are Dana White fan, do yourself a favor, get a used 2009. Horrible coding. Ring girl should be Arianny period, not an unknown chick named Powell.

So I was really excited about this game and its fun until you are getting taken down by the computer all the time because they are unstoppable. No matter how much takedown defense I have or whatever they all take me down and beat the crap out of me…

Also, the submissions… What a joke they are. I have not 1 time gotten a win with a submission but yet the computer dominates with submissions and ground and pound. I cant beleive this, even on friggin beginner its almost impossible. I have not even tried a harder type.

Im really glad I got the game on sale for [...] on amazon but I am taking it to gamestop tomorrow to trade it because how unfair this crap is. If THQ is reading this review. YOU SUCK!!!!!!!

This game has new features from last years that are well worth making the purchase. If you are a UFC fan, then the game will excite you to no end. Like reading a book and seeing the movie, this game is just what you see on TV. Game play is great and training your own fighter in different styles should please any player. Don’t expect to just open the box and win the title (maybe on easy) without learning and training. This is a game that will get as deep an indepth as you’ll let it, or have time for. GREAT GAME!

How do you make online matchmaking this broken? Ugh!

Searching for online match…cool found one finally…Uh oh, I was kicked at the beginning of the match.

Or, wow through some sort of act of god I actually got through to a match…uh oh, they set up another road block…LAG!!!

Also, the online checks to make sure you paid $5 extra or entered your code adds 15+ seconds to menu loads.

UFC 2009 was plagued with quitters. At least you could find someone to play even if they did quit though.

The career mode is weak again, what have they been working on for a year?

2009 was amazing for a freshman attempt. I was so impressed with 2009 that I was sure 2010 would be a hit. This failure really opens up the doors for EA MMA to takeover.

Stick with UFC 2009 and forget about this joke, 09 at least had online capability.

I’m selling 2010 to Amazon for credit and cutting my loses.

The career mode is horrible!!!! 2009 career mode was a lot easier to do. This one you have to constantly train your fighter or his stats will go to nothing. But if you want to just use one of the UFC already made fighters then you”ll probably love it. 2009 ground game was easier to use to.I usually play in career mode but with 2010 you’ll spend hours wasting your time trying to keep your stats and skills up. By then you’ll be so mad and frustrated you won’t want to play it anymore. Overall I would tell people to rent it before you buy it.
