When I bought this game, it’s intended for my child but when I started to play with it, come to find out, it’s intended for an older kid. I think it’s too advanced for the age of my child but it is worth the challenge!

I’ve always been a fan of Word Games so I was excited when I got hold of this game. The games are easy enough but there are various challenges that one must overcome. Trying to get use to US English was something I had to overcome as am used to British English but it was a minor setback.

If one is a fan of Word Games, Spelling Challenges would be one to add to the collection. There are various stages & levels to suit each individual’s needs so it caters to both kids above 10 and adults. You can choose the Practice mode to begin with & move on to the Challenge mode once you;re more confident. You’ll then be rewarded with “cash” as the points scored are converted at the end of each game. You’re also able to go to the Challenge level to test your ability which will unlock more games when you’ve completed the challenges.

I find these games addictive & interesting & would recommend them to anyone who enjoys Word Games. I’ve not regretted buying this game which both my kids(10 & 12 years)and I will enjoy for a long time. Look forward to more such Spelling Challenges games.

It’s kinda boring for older adults but for kids/teens it’s much more fun. It’s my least favorite of all the DS games I own.

My 7 year old isn’t much into this game. I love it and I’m 45! I think this game is perfect for 12 and up, particularly for anyone who loves to spell and be challenged. The spelling is not challenging for me but there is an area for parts of speech that one must achieve in order to advance in level. I’ve only played this game for an hour or so and am at level 57. I like the game but I am not totally challenged by it.
