ATTENTION TO ALL NO LIFE LOSERS WHO DECIDE TO BASH ME IN COMMENTS BECAUSE I STATE MY OPINION
Ok you have an additional 10 characters, a few extra stages, and a 2nd ultra; this is what SF4 should have been. They could have just easily made this down-loadable instead of re releasing another version for $40 bucks. This isn’t a bad game it’s just not satisfying for SF fans and Capcom continues to ignore its fans. Ryu and Ken are still missing moves, still no assign stages, still no parrying, no mild blood like previous SF games, Vega is still very disappointing because he’s weak and slow when in the past(especially in Capcom vs Snk 2)he was the fastest and one of the most deadliest characters in the game. Still only have just 1 super when in the past everyone had at least 3 moves and some any where from 4-6 unlike here you only have the option to do 2 moves in a match, no option to unlock to perform both ultras like in SF3, some of the ultras are absurd and not entertaining at all, as you choose your character it no longer shows where their from, movie intros are gone, instead it’s more like comic book scenes
Most biggest disappointment of all, characters like Hugo, Eagle, Maki, Rolento, and Elena should have least made the cut, instead we get a character name Hakan who is terrible and boring. Hugo and Zangief would have been a nice rival and Hugo’s ultras would have been nice; plus he, Maki and Rolento would fit in perfectly since we have Guy and Cody. I don’t see why Eagle didn’t make it either. Eagle and Dudley would have been perfect rivals since the only time we see him is in SF1, Capcom vs SNK and SF Alpha 3 max. He would have fit perfectly in this game. My biggest complaint is how in the world did Elena not make the cut yet African stages are present in this game; fans even wanted her. She is such a unique character, she brings diversity to the SF series and is the only character in the SF universe to have the fighting style capoeira; it’s like the missing art in SF. Imagine her in 3-D with her elegant moves and her sex appeal; her ultras would be nice too. I don’t understand why she wasn’t in this version because she is a popular character especially over characters such as T. Hawk and the new character name Hakan. Great, another Rufus type of character. Putting her in SSF4 would definitely fill that void and boost the game up in terms of variety. Overall, this isn’t a bad game but not satisfying for SF fans because this is what SF4 should have been. After I complete this with every character I will sell it back at Gamestop.

i will not be buying this game. I have street fighter 4, and i feel cheated that a new street fighter would come out about a year later with more characters levels and bonus stuff…..BOOOOOOOOO CAPCOM. it should have been an add on or a few add ons.

why do they keep making The Same Game with New Characters over and over again and releasing it as a new game??? this should have been Downloadable Content for street fighter 4 :l i mean i guess if you like the series so much that you COLLECT everything thats released, you should go ahead and pick this up…but if your looking for a NEW GAME, this is a pass over, 100%…stick with one of the Capcom or SNK vs games…

In my opinion, the Street Fighter 4 series and Street Fighter EX series on Playstation are the worst fighting games Capcom has ever produced. After renting “Super” and previously owning the original SF4, it’s clear to me that Capcom doesn’t know what their doing anymore. SF4 producer Yoshinori Ono should be fired and banned from ever making video games again. He has permanently wrecked this legendary fighting series. Adding 10 characters and a few extra features will not save Capcom when a game is poorly designed with gameplay flaws.
Don’t believe the hype people. SF4 is an epic failure compared to past games. Any true gamer will tell you that. Milking a sequel with the same technology from a game that was created on a 2005 Taito Graphics Engine isn’t going to win comsumer confidence back. Toshinori Ono must apologize to the Street Fighter Community for the pitiful job he and his team did. Overall, my advice is to stay away from Super Street Fighter IV. It’s the same garbage with a different wrapper. The King has fallen off the throne. Can Dead or Alive, Mortal Kombat, Tekken or Virtua Fighter take the top prize? Only time will tell…
THE 4 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT THE STREET FIGHTER IV SERIES:
(1) Doing M.Bison’s EX Head Stomp over and over again.
(2) Doing a forward throw with Ryu to win a round. His face looks sooo funny in slow motion.
(3) Doing Fei Long’s original ultra combo finish.
(4) Watching Cammy’s tight ass before the match starts.
THE 23 REASONS WHY THE STREET FIGHTER IV SERIES IS SOOO TERRIBLE:
(1) Toshinori Ono and his team destroyed this legendary series.
(2) Game is unplayable on a controller.
(3) You’ll need to get a top-quality arcade stick in order to compete. (average price $125.00-$150.00)
(4) Gameplay is broken and sloppy.
(5) Blanka’s back flip aerial roll (Hold back then Forward + heavy kick) hits you from behind and is unblockable. When in past games it would hit you from the front.
(6) Chun Li’s Heel Stomp (Down + Medium Kick in the air) does not hit standing opponents. When in past games it did. Also, Chun Li plays completely like crap now.
(7) Certain EX moves will lose to a jab punches.
(8) You will lose to Ultra’s even if you have the attack advantage. Example: Ryu vs Abel…Ryu will do a hurriance kick and fly across the screen. Abel performs his original Ultra Charging Punch Throw Medley and it will hit you even though the hurricane kick should hit first.
(9) Players manipulate game errors to avoid ultra combos. People will dash backwards when Cammy performs her original Cannon Drill Ultra or when Chun Li performs her Deadly Kicks Ultra. When this happens, the player will hop backwards and will only receive one hit from the ultra because the computer registers that the player is in the air from the hop. As the hit player falls backwards, the ultra will not connect the full attack.
(10) Serious timing issue, fluid gameplay is not presented like in past games, normal moves don’t hit in critical situations. Game runs sloppy in 3D!
(11) Online Xbox Live mode is extremely laggy and people quit 70% of the time. Capcom uses slow servers. Online opponents are unable to put combos together. They all “Hadou-Ken” you to death! Most players are uneducated about Street Fighter and rely on block throwing over 90% of the time. Also, Capcom removed Championship mode
(12) Ryu is missing his super kick from Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike.
(13) People cheat with focus attacks by using them as parries on aerial attacks. Perventing you to hit them.
(14) Zangief is WAY too strong and his spinning piledriver has a very high grab ratio even when your attacking him up close with deadly combos.
(15) Juri, Hakan, El Fuerte, Rufus, Abel should have NEVER been created. Garbage characters with garbage moves. Viper can stay because her moves are similar to Captain Commando’s from Marvel vs Capcom 2.
(16) Storylines do not make sense. Intro anime and ending anime are poorly animated. Many rival matches don’t follow past Street Fighter feuds. Capcom dropped the ball, big time with that!
(17) Sagat considers Ryu a friend now?
(18) Ken has become a soft baby loving wimp!
(19) Cammy has become a Jesus Freak! While fighting Juri during the Rival Match she says: “You can wallow in the guilt of your sins!” Also, after the match quote reads: ” Now you’ll pay for every sin you’ve ever committed! ” WTF?
(20) Ibuki the Ninja has a cellphone. She gets incredible reception from the deep forests of Japan. Her voice is cute and she talks like a 5 year old kid. Not to mention that her storyline is about looking to have sex. Good job, Capcom. Wonderful role model for young girls playing your game.
(21) Gill, the final boss from the Street Fighter III series should have been presented. Having all the boss characaters from past SF games in Super Street Fighter IV would have been cool.
(22) Gouken should have stayed DEAD! This is Ryu’s game!!! Having Gouken in the game makes Ryu look weak! Akuma killed Gouken…it should have ended there!
(23) The Ultra Combo Finish is a 100% rip off of Mortal Kombat’s Fatalities. Everybody knows that and Capcom should be ashamed of themselves stealing from their #1 competitor. Many Ultra Combo Finishes are immature and kiddy which ruins the gameplay experience. That’s what happens when you have producer Toshinori Ono making your games.
